ananda: pure bliss, one of the three attributes of the soul.
Chase has been practicing yoga since he was 8 years old. Having taken up serious study of asana and bhakti at 16 and teaching since 2007, his style and philosophy continues to evolve with each new experience. He is based out of NYC where he teaches private and public classes. He is heavily influenced by a passion for functional movement and alignment, and acknowledges that yoga is a system of wellbeing which by its nature asks us to do very "un-natural" practices to manipulate our perceptions of time and space to reclaim our power. His classes are focused on finding patterns and geometry within the postures to ignite insight and new perspectives. The goal of yoga is to gain insight and to reorient ourselves in time and space and be powerful.
Chase is a certified Continuing Education Provider through the Yoga Alliance and has his E-RYT200 and RYT500. He has taught people with all different mental and physical abilities and ages; his passion is bringing the teachings of yoga into modern life for personal transformation.

Yoga opens us. It allows us to come into our bodies honestly, accepting ourselves and getting intimate with the present moment. Through this intimacy with Self we become intimate with our own experience, allowing us to move forward into our lives with authenticity.
